Position Overview:
The Director of Project Management is a full-time leadership role located in RTP, NC. This individual will be responsible for the strategic oversight of TruLab’s implementation efforts across all clinical drug trials. As a departmental leader, you will manage a team of Senior Project Managers, ensuring they effectively lead projects through the development of project plans and manage complex customer relationships.

What You’ll Do:
Team Leadership: Directly manage and mentor the Senior Project Manager team, ensuring accountability to meet deadlines and achieve departmental goals.
Strategic Relationship Management: Build and maintain high-level relationships with TruLab’s key enterprise customers.
Process Excellence: Design and standardize comprehensive project plans and methodologies for the department to manage several projects concurrently.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Synchronize activities between various internal and external teams to ensure successful execution across the full project lifecycle.
Executive Reporting: Report directly to the TruLab leadership team, providing high-level updates on deployment health and departmental success.
Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate systemic risk factors to ensure successful, large-scale deployments across the organization.
Site Advocacy: Oversee interactions with site staff and pharma employees to ensure implementation success and resolve escalated issues.
What You’ll Need:
Leadership Experience: Proven track record of managing a team of project managers in a high-growth environment.
Advanced Project Management: Ability to oversee multiple complex projects simultaneously with a sharp focus on detail.
Communication Mastery: Superior verbal and written communication skills suitable for executive-level presentations and stakeholder management.
Operational Excellence: Demonstrated ability to coordinate actions and drive alignment between multiple groups of people and departments.
Industry Expertise: A passion for how technology can innovate and drive progress within clinical research.
Certification: PMP is preferred (or equivalent leadership experience).
