What Nonstop is Looking For:
Nonstop Administration and Insurance Services, Inc. is seeking a Head of Pricing who is responsible for setting and executing the organization’s pricing strategy. This role ensures competitive, sustainable, and risk-aligned pricing across all client relationships, while fostering strong broker partnership. The position requires a deep understanding of risk assessment, market dynamics, and portfolio management, with the ability to translate insights into profitable growth and long-term client value.
Primary Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary subject matter expert on all pricing matters, providing strategic guidance to executive leadership with regard to market conditions, emerging risks, and competitive dynamics.
- Develop and execute a continuously refined, data-driven pricing strategy aligned with business objectives and risk appetite
- Lead pricing for all client relationships, ensuring consistency, competitiveness, and profitability
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with brokers, clients, and key stakeholders to support growth and retention
- Oversee framework and governance to ensure risk-adjusted returns and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure pricing strategies are effectively communicated and implemented
- Partner with the Finance team to forecast revenue and profit, and to ensure pricing decisions align with financial goals
- Work with the Legal and Operations teams to ensure pricing policies are compliant and executable
- Drive operational excellence and scalability within the pricing function through best practices, tools, and processes
Qualifications:
Preferred Skills, Experience and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, actuarial science, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive underwriting leadership experience within insurance, reinsurance, or related financial services
- Proven success in setting pricing strategies for complex client and broker relationships
- Deep understanding of risk assessment methodologies, market cycles, and regulatory considerations
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and decision-making skills
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities
- Proven success in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work independently, with access to reliable high speed internet in a remote, distraction-free workspace
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
- Remote position involves regular collaboration across departments via video conferencing, phone, email and messaging platforms
- Requires prolonged periods of sitting and consistent use of a computer and other standard office equipment
- Ability to travel occasionally for team meetings, trainings, and/or company events
