Business Analyst (BA)

Position Summary
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Business Analyst (BA) to support the development of our core web-based application. This role is ideal for someone early in their product career who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys solving user problems, and has a strong analytical mindset.
The APM will work closely with cross-functional teams—especially product, engineering, and UX—to identify user needs, document business requirements, and assist in delivering exceptional web-based user experiences. The role combines elements of business analysis, feature prioritization, and execution support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders and end-users to gather and gather, validate, and document detailed business requirements and user stories.
· Analyze user workflows and pain points to propose feature improvements and new product capabilities.
· Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and other Agile ceremonies and promote rapid, data-informed iterations.
· Manage epics, stories, tasks and bugs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
· Assist in product roadmap planning, timelines, and release schedules.
· Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure intuitive and accessible web interfaces and validate designs against requirements.
· Coordinate with engineering teams during the development lifecycle to ensure requirements are implemented accurately.
· Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), log issues, and ensure quality of deliverables.
· Support the creation of product documentation, release notes, and training materials.
· Monitor product usage and collect user feedback to inform future enhancements.
· Stay updated with industry trends, competitor offerings, and best practices in web-based application development.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
· 2–4 years of experience in product management or business analysis, preferably in a software or web application environment.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to write clear, concise user stories and business requirements.
· Familiarity with wireframing and UX concepts.
· Understanding of the Agile/Scrum development process.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively with distributed teams.
· Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Figma, or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
· Background in web application product development.
· Exposure to the Human Capital Management (HCM) domain or healthcare industry is a plus.
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
