Position Purpose

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Deal Desk Manager to join our Revenue Operations team. This is a high-impact, customer-facing role that plays a pivotal part in the quote-to-cash (Q2C) lifecycle, directly influencing deal velocity, pricing accuracy, and revenue recognition. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, strategic thinker with a strong grasp of SaaS and consumption-based revenue models, sales operations, and deal execution.

You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Implementation, Legal, and Finance teams—ensuring deals are structured for success and closed efficiently. This position requires a flexible schedule, with availability to support month-end and quarter-end deal activity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end deal desk process—from opportunity setup to quote generation, proposals, and order form management
  • Provide strategic guidance on pricing, packaging, bundling, and discounting for both subscription-based (SaaS) and usage-based (consumption) deals
  • Review and manage contract terms, with expertise in amendments and contamination avoidance in ongoing agreements
  • Enforce discount thresholds, volume pricing models, and margin rules to maintain deal profitability while supporting sales velocity
  • Oversee the full Q2C lifecycle: new bookings, renewals, upsells, uplifts, and add-ons, across recurring revenue and consumption-based billing models
  • Monitor contract lifecycle events such as renewal windows, auto-renewals, and notice periods, and communicate key milestones to Customer Success or Sales
  • Work closely with Finance and Legal to support deal reviews and ensure timely execution and documentation compliance
  • Manage and enforce the deal approval process, ensuring all proposals meet internal policy requirements (pricing, discounting, terms)
  • Act as the primary gatekeeper for non-standard deal terms, escalating to Legal, Finance, or leadership as needed
  • Partner with Sales and Leadership to streamline approval flows, eliminate unnecessary delays, and accelerate deal turnaround time
  • Maintain and improve approval matrixes, including delegation of authority thresholds and special approvals
  • Operate primarily in DealHub CPQ and HubSpot CRM for quote and deal data management
  • Maintain and update pricebooks, and product bundling logic across revenue models
  • Act as the main point of contact to collect necessary deal documents from customers and enter data accurately in CRM
  • Coordinate the transition of signed deals to the Implementation and Success teams for seamless client onboarding
  • Remove bottlenecks, increase deal velocity, and drive urgency through better workflows, playbooks, and tools
  • Create and maintain dashboards for real-time insights into deal flow, renewals, consumption trends, and Q2C efficiency
  • Track and report on deal approval cycle times, identify bottlenecks, and lead initiatives to reduce time-to-approve while preserving control and compliance
  • Own the creation, management, and continuous improvement of proposal templates, order forms, and deal rooms to support consistency and speed in deal execution
  • Ensure templates reflect current pricing, legal language, packaging, and go-to-market strategies across both SaaS and consumption-based offerings
  • Partner with Marketing, Legal, and Sales Enablement to keep templates compliant, branded, and easy to use
  • Manage deal rooms or digital workspaces used to centralize proposal documents and client-facing collateral
  • Continually refine deal desk policies to align with evolving pricing models, including hybrid SaaS + usage billing
  • Standardize best practices to scale quoting, approvals, and contract management in a fast-paced environment
  • Continuously refine deal desk workflows and tools to optimize approval routing, exception handling, and compliance controls

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales Ops, or Revenue Operations, preferably in a B2B SaaS company
  • Strong understanding of both SaaS subscription and consumption-based revenue models
  • Experience managing multi-level approval workflows and working with Legal, Finance, and executive stakeholders on complex deals
  • Hands-on experience with DealHub CPQ, HubSpot CRM
  • Working knowledge of contract amendments, renewal mechanics, and prevention of agreement contamination
  • Expertise in quote-to-cash processes, including dynamic pricing and custom terms
  • Comfortable managing pricebooks, bundles, and complex product hierarchies
  • Customer-facing experience and ability to manage cross-functional relationships
  • Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking capabilities
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended support at month-end and quarter-end periods
