The Segment Marketing Manager (Facility-Based Care) is responsible for driving the marketing strategy for our specialized payroll and HR software solutions tailored to skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs). This role will work closely with our product team to understand the intricacies of our payroll and HR solutions and translate them into compelling marketing messages that address the unique challenges of the facility-based care workforce.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develop deep domain expertise in our payroll and HR solutions designed for facility-based care

Cultivate extensive knowledge of labor laws, compliance requirements (e.g., FLSA, ACA), and payroll regulations specific to long-term care facilities, including requirements for licensed and non-licensed staff

Create awareness and demand for our payroll and HR solutions within the skilled nursing, assisted living, and CCRC markets, emphasizing benefits like streamlined scheduling integration and improved staff retention

Maintain communications with internal personnel to align marketing efforts with the evolving needs of facilities, such as managing staffing shortages and implementing flexible scheduling options

Conduct market research on pain points related to payroll and HR management in facility-based care settings, such as managing agency staff, handling union requirements, and optimizing staff-to-resident ratios

Support Sales in developing promotional strategies that address common challenges like staff burnout, compliance risk mitigation, and operational efficiency

Execute targeted marketing campaigns highlighting how our solutions simplify complex payroll scenarios common in facilities, such as overtime calculations etc.

Develop competitive analyses focusing on payroll and HR solution providers serving the market

Define product differentiators that resonate with providers

Develop relationships with thought leaders and associations in the field
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field

3+ years of experience in B2B software marketing, preferably in payroll, HR, or long-term care technology

Strong understanding of payroll processes, HR functions, and labor laws affecting providers

Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex payroll and HR concepts into compelling benefits for facilities

Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies in the B2B software or healthcare sector
