Position Summary

The Regional Director of Operations is tasked with directing and supporting our integrated network of ophthalmic, optometric, and surgery center locations within a specific geographic area. This role is critical in driving strategic growth, enhancing patient care, optimizing financial performance, and fostering a positive employee culture aligned with EHA’s mission and values.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic growth strategies within the defined market service area (MSA).
  • Evaluate and manage performance metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct thorough P&L analysis, management, and initiatives for improvement.
  • Supervise Regional Business Manager, Regional Clinic Manager, and Regional Patient Education Manager.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with providers to enhance collaboration and service delivery.
  • Streamline patient communication strategies to improve engagement and satisfaction.
  • Optimize provider schedules and templates to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal EHA support functions and departments.
  • Manage internal provider relationships to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Support the deployment of organizational technology initiatives.
  • Effectively communicate with and support internal departments to promote synergy.
  • Foster a positive work environment and culture conducive to employee well-being and success.
  • Analyze department-level monthly scorecards to drive performance improvements.
  • Support HR’s provider recruitment activities to address staffing needs.
  • Implement initiatives to decrease staff turnover and increase employee engagement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of healthcare administration experience.
  • Ability to travel between office locations as needed.
