We are seeking a Patient Education Coordinator for our busy Plastics Doctor/Plastic Surgeon. This position is primarily responsible for all patient communication for plastics. The successful candidate must be a person with an optimistic outlook on life and have excellent interpersonal skills. Overtime may be needed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Face to Face Counseling with surgical patients.
• Chart Prep for all surgeries.
• Knowledgeable about all aspects of Eye Surgery.
• Schedule surgeries and provide patients with clear instructions for surgery.
• Organize charts and collect all pertinent information.
• Prepare and fax all pre-operative paperwork to patients’ primary care, cardiologists, etc. for Medical Clearance.
• Phone correspondence with surgical patients as needed.
• Correspondence with Optometrists.
