What Should You Expect?
Responsibilities:
- Develop project plan with scope, milestones, schedules, and resources
- Track project progress and report project status to all stakeholders
- Manage and track changes to scope, priorities, schedules and resources
- Work closely with development and QA managers to coordinate task schedule and resource allocation, resolve conflicts, and maintain full visibility of multiple projects
- Anticipate, manage and resolve issues and act as the point of contact for the project
- Ensure project documents are complete, current and available for staff and leadership review.
- Identify and mitigate any potential issue that may impact the deliverables of software releases
- Work with development and QA managers to streamline and refine practices
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with project management concepts, principles, and practices
- Expert-level understanding of SDLC and scaled agile using industry standard methodologies
- Ability to manage projects of various types simultaneously in a highly dynamic environment
- Certified in both traditional and agile project management
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and capability of influencing without authority
Experience:
- 8+ years of professional experience in managing software development projects
