Suvoda is a global clinical trial technology company shaping digital experiences that enable clinical trial sponsor and site professionals to take full command over the inherent logistical complexity behind mission-critical and time-sensitive patient interactions in life-sustaining studies for therapeutic areas such as oncology, central nervous system, and rare disease.
Supporting clinical trials means supporting unique experiments that are inherently complex, high-stakes, and dynamic. It is imperative that Suvoda staff working with clients, end-users, or the systems that client and end-users interact with understand the clinical trial industry, regulations, Suvoda’s software products and processes, and especially the specificities of the unique trial in question before taking any actions they may alter the data of the system in question.
Responsibilities:
- Work with product, marketing, and technical leads to define the information architecture.
- Build and maintain client aids that go beyond traditional documentation, such as online video, demos, guided tours, and other educational techniques. Establish team policies and procedures, conforming to existing styles, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee peer editing and production review work.Work with product managers, product marketing, and engineers to produce and maintain world-class documentation, including: User Guides, Integration Guides, API Developer Guides, In platform documentation (tooltips, welcome instructions, etc.).
- Learn product concepts, and communicate the information in a way that is engaging and understood by users.
- Gather customer feedback on documentation to improve usability.
- Act as an editor to ensure consistency in training documentation across [redacted].
- Monitor metrics on the usage of training materials as well as direct customer feedback to prioritize future training investments.
Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communications and experience working with content in multiple mediums.
- Experience working cross-departmentally to communicate the nuts and bolts of a product.
- Strong experience owning an end-to-end documentation creation process.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- A positive attitude, willing to jump in and tackle new challenges.
- Experience working with online publishing tools preferred, example: Confluence/JIRA, Git & Github, HTML, JavaScript, Python, Madcap, RoboHelp
Experience:
- 5-10 years of technical writing experience for a SAAS product line required.
- 5-10 years experience managing online knowledge bases and/or product user forums preferred.
