Implementations Team Lead

The Team Lead, Payment Implementation’s primary role entails overseeing a team who is responsible for translating customer documents / requirements into payable activities within our company’s payment platforms. The Team Lead will play a key role in ensuring established service level agreements are met, quality controls are in place, and mitigation measures are established. This role will be responsible for the training and coaching of Payment Implementation Team members in line with common trends to maximize the quality within the Team.
Responsibilities
· Directly manage members of the Payment Implementation Team responsible for the translation of customer documents / requirements into payable activities within Greenphire’s payment platforms
· Monitor individual performance metrics to ensure productivity aligns with defined goals and expectations
· Manage implementation queue and assign priorities to ensure adequate resourcing to support SLA requirements
· Review unique payment requests/large scale updates for feasibility
· Serve as a point of contact and escalation for clients and internal Operations Teams
· Support Relationship Management in customer engagement, resource and capacity planning, escalations, and metrics and reporting
· Collaborate with Project Management on prioritization, resource planning, and SME support
· Ensure compliance to established processes and capture of appropriate documentation for audit-readiness
· Collaborate and communicate with business partners to verify interpretation of contracted terms and rates for accuracy
· Develop and monitor controls to ensure standard process and procedures among the Implementation and Verification Teams
· Support and define metrics and reporting, cadence across the business unit
· Establish new and enhance current auditing and monitoring checklists and procedures
· Coach and develop team members, including ongoing one on one and team meetings
· Maintain and deliver a training program to support interpretation and implementation activities
· Identify industry trends affecting clinical trials and develop understanding of common therapeutic and country-specific nuances specific to payments
· Define, implement, and enforce output and accuracy parameters
· Enforce timeliness of complete and correct workflow tracking and metrics for financial billing and reporting
· Perform other duties, assignments, and/or special projects as time or circumstances necessitate
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience and/or training
· Minimum of 4 years contract management or payments related experience within pharmaceutical or CRO preferred
· Foundational background in global clinical trial design, contracts and budgets
· Strong experience with Microsoft Excel required
· Client and process focused
· Strong leadership skills required
· Ability to challenge and improve on existing practices and identify and develop new practices to address gaps
· Must have excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal and time management skills
