We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in behavioral health and mental health to join our growing team. If you are passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals facing mental health challenges, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the initial intake and discharge planning for patients.
  • Deliver exceptional nursing care to individuals with mental health and behavioral health needs.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with therapists, counselors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
Qualifications:
  • Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of FLORIDA.
  • 2+ years of experience in behavioral health or mental health nursing.
  • Strong understanding of mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Empathy, patience, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in crisis intervention or working with individuals in recovery.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems (KIPU).
  • Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing (PMHN) is a plus.
