Full Job Description
Director of Nursing - RN:
$120,000.00-$130,000.00/year
$5000 sign on bonus(after 90 days in good standing)
The Director of Nursing is a valued leadership position within the community. The Director of Nursing provides authority, responsibility, and accountability for the delivery of clinical services in the community. Helps to enable each resident to attain or maintain the highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. Collaborate with other departments, medical professionals, consultants, and organizations, including government agencies and advocacy groups, to develop, support, and coordinate resident care, related administrative functions, and to represent the interests of Senior Haven strategy and values

Responsibilities:
- Promote an environment of Optimal Living for residents
- Assists residents to retain self-care and stability of medical conditions
- Coordinates with family, healthcare practitioners, and ancillary services
- Intimately involved in supporting the care of all residents
- Accountable for training staff in health-related topics and oversees all Medication Management
- Provide early diagnosis of resident health changes
- Conduct resident assessments and care plan
- Work closely with the Resident Care Managers to schedule, plan, and prioritize staff activity
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Current active RN license in the State of Oregon
- Nurse management experience highly preferred
- Demonstrate ability to maintain confidentiality for residents and staff
- Demonstrate organization, administration, and leadership skills
- Ability to apply the nursing process consistent with Senior Haven philosophy
- Strong communication skills (oral and written), ability to communicate in non-technical language with staff members, residents, and families
- Effective problem-solving, critical thinking skills, and conflict resolution skills
