This role is designed for a nurse who wants to lead, build systems, mentor teams, improve outcomes, and contribute to the long-term success of the organization. The position focuses on clinical oversight, compliance, quality assurance, training, and leadership rather than routine after-hours nursing coverage.

ResponsibilitiesClinical Oversight

  • Conduct nursing assessments, reassessments, and clinical reviews.
  • Monitor resident health status and changes in condition.
  • Oversee medication management systems and clinical documentation.
  • Review incidents, hospitalizations, and significant clinical events.
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to managers and direct care staff.
  • Ensure residents receive appropriate services consistent with their needs and service plans.

  • Review assessments, service plans, and nursing documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Lead survey readiness efforts and support regulatory inspections.
  • Assist with policy development, implementation, and ongoing review.

  • Identify risks proactively and implement corrective actions when needed.

Leadership & Staff Development

  • Provide training, mentorship, and ongoing clinical support to staff and managers.
  • Participate in management meetings and organizational planning.
  • Support department leaders in developing best practices and accountability systems.
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and professional development of staff.
  • Promote a culture of quality, professionalism, accountability, and resident-centered care.

  • Partner with executive leadership on organizational initiatives and long-term planning.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency, and operational excellence.

  • Profit-sharing incentives
  • Expanded leadership responsibilities
  • Participation in future growth initiatives
  • Strategic planning and organizational development
  • Advanced leadership incentive programs

We are looking for someone who wants to do more than simply fill a position. We are looking for a leader who wants to help build systems, support teams, improve resident outcomes, and contribute to the future success of the organization.

Advancement opportunities are based on performance, leadership, organizational contribution, and business growth rather than tenure alone.

Qualifications

  • Current Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing.
  • Assisted Living, Home Care, Behavioral Health, Mental Health, or Long-Term Care experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Minnesota Assisted Living regulations (144G) preferred.
  • Previous leadership, management, or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with leadership and management teams.
  • Passion for quality care, compliance, staff development, and organizational growth.

Compensation
