Job Type: Contract and or PRN Weekends, 9-5 up to 60 hours per week

Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee clinical services and ensure high-quality care for individuals receiving services. The RN will supervise staff, conduct clinical assessments, maintain compliance with Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH) and Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) standards, and support quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate clinical operations to ensure compliance with DCH and DBHDD regulations.
- Conduct initial and ongoing nursing assessments and develop individualized Service Plans of Care.
- Supervise Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and CNAs to ensure proper care and documentation.
- Review and maintain clinical records, nursing notes, and supervisory documentation.
- Provide oversight for medically fragile individuals and ensure appropriate care plans are in place.
- Conduct staff training and in-service education, including medication administration and infection control.
- Monitor HRST (Health Risk Screening Tool) assessments and update as needed.
- Ensure services are delivered safely, ethically, and in compliance with state and agency policies.
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia.
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred.
- Knowledge of DBHDD/DCH regulations and infection control practices.
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems such as Cerner or Epic preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
