Your expertise will directly impact revenue cycle management, insurance reimbursements, and the overall quality of patient care. We are seeking energetic professionals who thrive in detail-oriented environments and are passionate about maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and compliance in medical coding.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all coding complies with current industry guidelines, regulations, and payer requirements.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation discrepancies or ambiguities to ensure precise coding.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding changes, updates in ICD-9 (if applicable), ICD-10, CPT coding systems, and related billing procedures.
  • Prepare and submit accurate medical claims for reimbursement through electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
  • Assist in auditing medical records for completeness and accuracy to support clean claims submission.
  • Support medical billing and collection processes by providing detailed coded data that facilitates timely payments.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices in medical terminology, medical records management, and coding standards to continually improve accuracy.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance your understanding of evolving coding protocols and healthcare regulations.

  • Experience working with EMR/EHR systems for documentation review and claim submission.
  • Familiarity with medical billing processes and collections procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in code assignment and data entry.
  • Ability to interpret complex medical records quickly while maintaining compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Prior experience in a medical office environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and billing teams. Join us as a Medical Coder to help streamline healthcare operations while advancing your career in a fast-paced, rewarding environment!
