Position Objective
We are seeking a detail oriented and technically skilled Verification Technician to join our service repair team. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying, troubleshooting, and validating the performance of repaired circuit boards and electronic components. Ideal candidates have hands-on electronics experience, strong diagnostic capabilities, and a passion for solving complex technical problems.
This position is well-suited for individuals with an A+ Certification, an Electronics Engineering Technology (EET) degree, or equivalent practical experience in electronics repair and testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production of Stratix barcode verification devices.
- Performing annual calibration and repair of Stratix bar code verification devices.
- Perform functional verification and validation testing on repaired circuit boards and electronic assemblies.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and test benches.
- Document test results, repair notes, and failure points within the service tracking system.
- Collaborate with repair technicians to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety procedures, and company repair protocols.
- Maintain equipment, tools, and test fixtures to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in developing, refining, and updating testing procedures and verification methods.
- Provide technical support to internal teams and customers regarding equipment performance.
Qualifications
Required:
- A+ Certification or equivalent technical repair certification.
- Associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology (EET) or comparable field experience.
- Hands-on experience with circuit board repair, electronics troubleshooting, or field service repair.
- Strong knowledge of electronic components, circuitry, and test methodologies.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Proficiency with standard diagnostic tools (microscope, oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, etc.).
- Proficiency with soldering and ability to replace surface mount components.
Preferred:
- Experience working in a repair depot, electronics manufacturing environment, or field service role.
- Knowledge of surface‑mount and through‑hole component soldering practices.
- Familiarity with ESD-safe handling procedures.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
