Position overview:

The Logistics Analyst is responsible for analyzing and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our client’s supply chain and logistics operations. This role involves collecting data, identifying trends, developing performance metrics, and recommending improvements to logistics processes such as transportation, warehousing, and inventory management. As this role will be supporting our client based in Quebec, Canada, we are looking for candidates who possess fluency in French.

This will be a fully remote role.

A typical day in the life of a Logistics Analyst:

  • Analyze data related to transportation costs, shipping times, carrier performance, and warehouse operations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Create and maintain logistics reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track performance across the supply chain.
  • Evaluate and recommend optimal shipping routes, carriers, and methods to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Procurement, Sales, Operations) to forecast demand and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Support implementation of logistics solutions including route optimization, TMS (transportation management systems), or WMS (warehouse management systems).
  • Conduct root cause analysis of supply chain issues and work with cross-functional teams to develop corrective actions.
  • Stay up to date on industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Assist in vendor and carrier negotiations by providing data-driven analysis.

The skills you’ll contribute to our diverse team:

  • 2 - 4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain analysis, or transportation planning.
  • Native-level fluency in French.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and database querying (SQL a plus).
  • Familiarity with logistics systems (e.g., TMS, WMS, ERP).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The pay range for the role is $60,000 - $70,000 annually. Individual pay depends on various factors, such as role level, relevant experience and skills, and location. Pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the pay range applicable at the time.
