We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Advisor to join our growing team. This position is based out of our Bellevue, WA office and may be structured as a hybrid or fully remote role for the right candidate.
Your Role
As a Tax Advisor, you will:
· Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns, including corporate, partnership, and individual filings
· Ensure full compliance with all applicable tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements
· Conduct tax research and stay current on changes in tax legislation and regulatory updates
· Manage tax calendars and ensure timely filing of all required returns and payments
· Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules related to tax and general accounting
· Support month-end and year-end close processes with a focus on tax-related accruals and adjustments
· Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors, including preparation of requested documentation
· Assist with tax audits, notices, and inquiries from federal and state agencies
· Maintain and improve internal controls, documentation, and processes related to tax compliance and reporting
· Support multi-state tax registrations, filings, and ongoing compliance requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
· Active CPA license required
· 2-4 years of public accounting or corporate tax experience
· Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations
· Experience preparing complex tax returns, including corporate, partnership, individual, fiduciary, and nonprofit filings
· Familiarity with multi-state tax compliance and filings
· Proficiency in accounting systems and tax software
· Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
· Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
Preferences:
· Public accounting (CPA firm) background
· Experience with partnership and pass-through entity taxation
· Experience responding to tax notices, audits, and regulatory inquiries
· Familiarity with payroll tax filings and compliance

Compensation & Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:
· Compensation: $75,000 - $95,000
