Your Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role will be responsible for supporting certain aspects of human resources, including recruitment, benefits administration, and payroll facilitation. The ideal candidate is proactive, approachable, and skilled at balancing both strategic initiatives and day-to-day HR operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Support recruitment efforts by posting job openings, screening applications, coordinating interviews, and assisting with onboarding processes.
- Assist with new hire orientation and ensure all required paperwork and documentation is completed.
- Maintain and update HR records, HRIS systems, and personnel files.
- Enter and verify employee payroll data including hours worked, deductions, and adjustments.
- Assist with the preparation of semi-monthly payroll.
- Maintain accurate payroll and employee records in HRIS and payroll systems.
- Support payroll audits and reporting by providing accurate data and documentation.
- Provide general HR administrative support including filing, updating employee information, and maintaining compliance records.
- Assist with routine benefits administration tasks such as enrollment forms and open enrollment coordination.
- Support training and employee development initiatives by coordinating logistics and tracking participation.
- Assist with compliance documentation such as I-9s and Benefits reporting.
- Respond to routine payroll, recruiting, or HR-related questions and escalate as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–2 years of experience in an HR generalist or related role.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite along with Payroll and Benefit platforms.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred, but not required.
