Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Facilities Engineer to join our team at our state-of-the-art data center in Colina. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the infrastructure and systems that support our critical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee the maintenance and operation of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.

· Ensure the reliability and efficiency of power distribution and backup systems.

· Monitor and manage environmental controls to maintain optimal conditions for data center equipment.

· Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

· Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and upgrades.

· Implement and adhere to safety protocols and regulatory compliance.

· Respond promptly to emergencies and system failures to ensure continuous operation.

· Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and system performance.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.

· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a data center environment.

· Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.

· Experience with power distribution and backup systems, including generators and UPS.

· Familiarity with environmental control systems and monitoring tools.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Certification in facilities management or related fields is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS).

· Knowledge of data center infrastructure management (DCIM) software
