What you will be doing:

Technical Rounds and Monitoring

• Conduct regular inspections of data center equipment, including servers, cooling systems, power systems, and network infrastructure.
• Record and log readings from critical systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Identify and escalate any anomalies or irregularities in equipment performance.

Alarm Response and Incident Management

• Act as the first responder to data center alarms.
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues promptly, following established protocols.
• Escalate unresolved or critical issues to senior technicians or management as necessary.

Security and Access Control

• Manage the issuance and tracking of security badges for data center access.
• Verify identities and access permissions to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Monitor and report any security-related incidents.

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain detailed logs of activities, incidents, and maintenance tasks.
• Provide regular reports on data center operations and any incidents encountered during shifts.

General Support

• Assist with basic hardware installation and cabling as directed.
• Support scheduled maintenance activities under the guidance of senior team members.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new technical skills
• Reliable, professional, and physically capable (ability to lift equipment safely)
• Basic understanding of computers and mechanical/electrical systems
• Good level of written and spoken English and German
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, structured environment
• Flexibility to work up to 12hr shifts during the week

• Interest in electrical, HVAC, or mechanical systems
• Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or facility maintenance
