The Solutions Architect will gather and interpret customer requirements, lead technical solutioning sessions, and communicate our capabilities to prospective and existing clients.

This individual will be expected to bring deep subject matter expertise in critical facility design and operations and will support both new construction (greenfield) and existing facility (brownfield) projects. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in commissioning, modernization programs, operational readiness, and emerging cooling technologies including liquid-to-chip.

Contributions will include close collaboration with commercial, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned to client goals. General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the development of tailored technical proposals and scopes of work
  • Advising internal teams and clients on facility performance, system interdependencies, and lifecycle management strategies
  • Leading or supporting client meetings, site walks, and design review sessions
  • Ensuring smooth transition from pre-sales solutioning to delivery execution
  • Staying current with data center industry trends, standards, and best practices

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to design integrated solutions across the full data center lifecycle: Advisory, Design, Build, Operate, and Refresh.
  • Lead technical presentations, scoping sessions, and RFP responses for hyperscale, enterprise, and colocation customers.
  • Conduct site assessments and solution reviews to align capabilities with client objectives.
  • Drive architecture for greenfield and brownfield deployments, including white space fit-out, liquid cooling systems, power/cooling configurations, and end-of-life equipment refresh strategies.
  • Advise on commissioning best practices and operational readiness planning.
  • Own the technical narrative and documentation for proposals, presentations, and contracts.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies including AI infrastructure, energy efficiency standards, and liquid-to-chip cooling.
  • Provide feedback to product development and delivery teams to ensure alignment between offering strategy and customer needs.

Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of the entire data center lifecycle, including advisory services, conceptual and detailed design, build and construction integration, operations, commissioning, and equipment refresh cycles.
  • Experience with both greenfield builds and brownfield retrofits, including modernization of legacy infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of mission-critical systems (UPS, generators, BMS, liquid cooling, HVAC, and rack-level infrastructure).
  • Preferably experienced in liquid-to-chip cooling design and implementation, or other next-gen cooling technologies.
  • Demonstrated success crafting complex technical solutions across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to simplify complexity for both technical and executive audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with North American standards and codes (NEC, NFPA, ASHRAE, Uptime Institute, TIA-942).
  • Experience supporting cloud service providers, hyperscalers, or enterprise AI infrastructure environments.
