Data Center Cleaning Technician: As a Data Center Cleaning Technician, you will work in our cleaning division performing preventative and general cleaning in a Data Center environment. Technicians are trained to work on several fronts. Our technicians are responsible for cleaning and maintaining a;; types of Data Center surfaces – Including equipment, cable ducts, ceilings, walls, floors, subfloors, dependent on Client Scope of Work expectations. Technicians are experienced in using proper cleaning methods, chemicals, and equipment to properly care for all sensitive surfaces in our customer’s Data Center. This is a highly specialized position that helps the building look pristine for guests, employees, and customers at any time. A day porter will clean areas of the building throughout the day, look for ways to optimize the cleaning process, and ensure that everything is running smoothly. Responsibilities: • Data Hall subfloor/surface/crevice/ cleaning using approved equipment, attachments, and methodologies. • Scrub floor tile surfaces to client expectations. • Clean overhead cable trays, conduits, busways, and other fixtures using approved equipment, attachments, and methodologies. • Vacuum, sweep, and damp mop floor to client expectations. • HEPA vacuum acoustical ceiling bottom faces. • Vertical and horizontal surface wipe down to client expectations using approved equipment, attachments, and methodologies. • Clean surfaces up to 12 feet, including conduits and other fixtures • Wipe down exteriors of electrical and mechanical equipment. • Spot clean equipment and fixtures. • Cosmetic cleaning tasks. • Particulate testing. • Trash and recyclable disposal. • General janitorial functions that might include spill cleanup, common area cleaning and sanitation, and office area dusting. Additional Accountabilities: • Accurate and timely documentation of 100% checklist requirements in Field Service • Accurate and timely submission of timesheet documentation in Field Service • Accurate and timely submission of Task Hazard Assessment in Field Service • Accurate and timely submission of Incident Reports in Field Service • Fulfillment of 100% contractual expectations as defined within client Statement of Work • Fulfillment of 100% of revenue expectations as defined within client Statement of Work • Completion of 100% required Talent LMS based Safety Training courses as assigned Required Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent • Ability to perform general custodial/cleaning practices and methodologies • Ability to lift up to 50lbs • Ability to work at different heights and surfaces • Ability to work with arms above shoulders less than 25% of the time • Ability to use mobile application technology Preferred Qualifications: • Organized work habits • Ability to establish rapport with client representatives • Comfortable with over-communication • Excellence with Customer Service Principles • Ability to work independently or with a team as necessary • Data Center infrastructure awareness If your professional growth and compensation trajectory are restricted in any way, consider – • Stepping into a role with a nationally recognized leader in the Mission Critical market • Working with an employer who maintains a corporate philosophy to hire only our nation’s best • Who invests in and are unilaterally committed to continuing the enrichment of their employees If you have what it takes to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment we welcome the opportunity to provide more detail and explore your current situation and interests.
