Property Administrator
The Property Administrator will support the Property Management Team in handling all aspects of building maintenance and operations excluding critical infrastructure systems. This position requires a strong ability to manage administrative duties and internal projects with internal and external associates. The ideal candidate for this role is detail oriented, dedicated to continuous improvement, and passionate about healthy workplace dynamics. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide full administrative support to the Property Manager and Assistant
- Property Manager including phone support, typing, reports, filing, and distribution of correspondence.
- Manage the upkeep and operation of communal spaces including kitchens and break rooms areas; ensure supplies are stocked and equipment is operational.
- Maintain and monitor office supplies inventory, ensuring timely restocking and accurate tracking of usage.
- Schedule, set-up, and manage the reservation of internal and external meetings/special events.
- Design, create, print, and laminate building signage as needed.
- Support the Assistant Property Manager with vendor coordination and internal/external visitors with scheduling, and site visit preparations.
- Participate in site inspections and report findings to the Property Management team.
- Maintain tenant and vendor contact list.
- Maintain a safe and orderly environment; duties include placing safety cones, barricades, and signage as needed.
- Additional duties assigned by the Property Manager and Assistant Property Manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- One to three years of experience in property management, real estate, or other related administrative / office experience.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (college courses preferred)
- Exceptional organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address customer, employee, or management concerns efficiently.
- Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
- Willingness and desire to continue your professional development.
- A proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service.
- Strong organizational skills and detail orientation.
- The ability to multitask and manage multiple activities and priorities.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license for work-related travel, as required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate management, finance, construction management, or a related field of study.
- Experience in Class A commercial real estate.
- Familiarity with the data center industry.
- Experience in working in construction sites.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 40lbs.
- Ability to climb ladders and multiple flights of stairs to access elevated equipment.
- Must be able to safely push, pull, and maneuver a pallet jack with loaded materials of varying weight throughout the facility.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time in various work environments.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for equipment related tasks.
- Basic physical fitness to respond quickly to emergency situations and navigate areas quickly.
- Ability to move quickly and efficiently within various work environments to troubleshoot issues or respond to emergencies.
- Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity for working with small components and connectors.
- Clear vision, with or without correction, to perform tasks requiring attention to detail and precision while wearing safety glasses.
- Ability to differentiate between color-coded warning signs, labels, and cables.
- Ability to work in environments with a wide variety of temperatures inside a facility.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, rain, or snow.
- Capability to work in environments with elevated noise levels while wearing hearing protection.
TRAVEL
- Limited travel may be required in this position – typically < than 5% annually.
