This is an exciting time to join the team as we step up operations in new countries and commence work on new and challenging projects. As a result of this growth, we are looking to recruit a skilled and dependable Electrician to join our Project Department, supporting infrastructure rollouts across EMEA. This role involves extensive travel and frequent time away from home. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in general electrical systems and be eager to contribute to fast-paced, international projects. While data center experience is not required, a proactive mindset and flexibility are key. The candidate may also be asked to take on Site Coordinator responsibilities, helping manage on-site activities and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and commission general electrical systems such as lighting, small power distribution, and low-voltage components.
- Support project teams during infrastructure deployments and site readiness activities.
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
- Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve on-site challenges.
- Maintain accurate documentation of installations, inspections, and inventory of electrical supplies.
- Act as Site Coordinator when required, overseeing daily site operations, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring project timelines are met.
- Travel extensively across EMEA, often spending multiple days or weeks away from home.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience as an electrician.
- Valid electrician license or certification (as required by local regulations).
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in diverse, fast-paced environments.
- Willingness to learn project-specific systems and procedures.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, flexible attitude.
- Comfortable with frequent travel and extended stays abroad.
Preferred but Not Required:
- Experience with small-scale UPS systems, generators, or general facility power infrastructure.
- Familiarity with building management systems (BMS) or electrical monitoring tools.
- Prior experience in site coordination or project support roles.

The role is a full-time position, and your base salary will be commensurate with experience but is expected to be highly competitive. The opportunity is located in Amsterdam, Netherlands and will include up to 90% travel as needed to meet business demands.
