The Debt Sale Consultant is a subject matter expert responsible for the end-to-end execution of debt sale engagements, from initial scoping and portfolio valuation to final delivery.

This critical role drives the debt sale agenda by managing a revenue budget and delivering high-quality, flawless debt sales that maintain the organisation's market-leading position.

What You’ll Do

  • The Debt Sale Consultant is a subject matter expert responsible for the end-to-end execution of debt sale engagements, from initial scoping and portfolio valuation to final delivery.
  • This critical role drives the debt sale agenda by managing a revenue budget and delivering high-quality, flawless debt sales that maintain the organisation's market-leading position.
  • Key responsibilities include managing complex project timelines, coordinating with key stakeholders from the internal Equifax team, and serving as the primary point of communication between seller clients and purchaser panels.
  • Success in this role requires exceptional problem-solving skills, analytical rigor, and the ability to influence senior-level stakeholders while simultaneously mentoring team members.

What Experience You Need

  • Exceptional communicator – across all levels of the businesses and organizations debt services deal with
  • Problem solving and time management skills with a high degree of rigor
  • Strongly motivated to do the right thing
  • Proven ability to operate independently and take initiative
  • Experience leading projects & being responsible for their output and delivery on time
  • Proven track record in the debt sale industry within Financial Services, Utilities, or similar industries
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a time pressured environment to achieve revenue targets
