As the Senior Director, Product for Debt Management & Post-Close, you will lead the evolution of products that support financial institutions after a loan has been funded. While much of the industry focuses solely on the point of origination, you will own the strategy for the long-tail of the lending journey—focusing on account management, portfolio health, and debt recovery services powered by The Work Number®.
What You’ll Do:
What You’ll Do:
- Strategic Growth: Own the roadmap for the Debt Management vertical and the broader "Post-Close" lending ecosystem. You will identify market trends and customer pain points to expand our footprint in account review and collections.
- Portfolio Intelligence: Drive the vision for our batch-delivery channel, ensuring our data insights are integrated into the recurring workflows lenders use to monitor risk and manage their existing portfolios.
- Lifecycle Innovation: Identify opportunities to "shift right" in the lending lifecycle, developing solutions that provide continuous value from the moment a loan is closed through its entire duration.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a bridge between internal business units, partnering with data and analytics teams to create integrated solutions that combine employment and income data with broader credit insights.
- Customer Advocacy: Act as the subject matter expert for post-close lending, engaging with key clients to understand how automated data insights can replace manual processes in their portfolio management and recovery operations.
- Lending & Credit Expertise: 7-10 years of product management experience required, preferably within Financial Services, Fintech, or Credit Risk. A deep understanding of the regulatory landscape for debt management or collections is a significant plus.
- Bachelor's degree
- Data Channel Proficiency: Experience managing products delivered via batch processing or large-scale data integrations. You understand how to productize high-volume data for institutional clients.
- Influence without Authority: Proven track record of driving complex product initiatives in a matrixed environment. You know how to align stakeholders across sales, technology, and data science to execute a vision.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Demonstrated ability to take a product from initial concept through market launch and into the scaling phase.
- Collections Technology Background: Direct experience building or managing platforms used for debt recovery, garnishment, or loss mitigation.
- Portfolio Risk Management: Experience developing tools used for Credit Line Increases (CLI), retention strategies, or proactive risk monitoring.
- Strategic Integration: Success in "bundling" disparate data assets to create a more comprehensive view of the consumer for the lender.
