What you will do

  • Supervise the technology team, interview and select people, motivate and inspire the team and drive retention and employee engagement.
  • Provide software engineers constant feedback and prepare individual development plans to

have team members prepared for succession or to occupy new seniority positions.

  • Ensure the quality of deliveries, prioritize initiatives oriented to metrics (eg reliability, code

smells, technical debts, bugs), define quality strategy and quality techniques/frameworks

(eg BDD, TDD, FDD , test automation), oversee the processes and controls of delivery flow

at different discovery, development, testing, approval and implementation phases and

ensure stability, performance and maintenance of organizational systems.

  • Ensure the efficiency of the teams through the use of metrics (availability, cloud cost,

throughput, lead time, blockages), ensuring the balance of indicators according to the

defined goals and raising the need for additional resources as needed.

  • Facilitate integration between product teams and other areas of the company focused on

the client by defining responsibilities and agreements, and systematically optimizing

workflow and communication.

  • Cloud Certification Strongly Preferred

Team Supervision and Leadership : Proven experience in supervising the daily activities of a team (preferably production or technical support roles) and being accountable for their operational performance.

Project and Delivery Management: Experience delivering Technology change through project-based work, including developing and implementing short and long-term IT solutions and adapting existing system designs.

People Management Fundamentals: Experience with core people management responsibilities, such as conducting performance appraisals, pay reviews, and employee training/development.

Technical Architecture/Systems Integration: Experience with the design, development, or maintenance of applications, systems architecture, network systems, or applications infrastructure.

Operational Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve day-to-day operational problems and make decisions guided by policies and business plans

What could set you apart

  • Driving Automation and Efficiency: Proven track record of automating technical capabilities and streamlining processes that significantly reduced manual effort or accelerated development cycle times, demonstrating a high-impact approach to engineering.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination Excellence: Exceptional ability to coordinate work activities with multiple other supervisors/functions to unblock complex projects and ensure seamless alignment, showcasing leadership that extends beyond your immediate team.
  • Strategic Talent Development: Concrete experience in not just supervising, but actively mentoring and elevating team members into more senior technical roles, demonstrating a commitment to building long-term organizational capability.
  • Complexity Management (Adaptation): Specific examples of successfully leading the team through highly complex tasks involving the modification or adaptation of critical, existing system designs, ensuring stability while delivering new functionality.
  • Proactive Risk & Problem Mitigation: Instead of just reacting to problems, evidence of proactively identifying systemic issues or technical debt and implementing long-term solutions that prevent recurring operational failures and improve system
