SUMMARY: The Director of Global Alliances supports and contributes to the achievement of strategic corporate and revenue objectives across the Magaya partner ecosystem worldwide. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Director of Global Alliances possesses sales, marketing, channel partner, technology, solution, operations, and domain knowledge. This role is ultimately responsible for working directly with Magaya's resell and referral partners globally to grow the partner network, create new revenue opportunities, and enhance and expand the global footprint. The Director of Global Alliances will have significant visibility and interaction at the executive level, is highly motivated, and is a strategic-oriented sales and partner executive who is excited to grow and cultivate Magaya's partners to their fullest potential and to expand Magaya's business internationally.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Although no position is static, the following represents the critical responsibilities necessary to be successful in this position. The description will be revised as the needs of the organization evolve.

  • Support Magaya core values and represent Magaya in a professional manner.
  • Support Magaya policies and procedures.
  • Meet and exceed defined goals and expectations as assigned (identify, sign, onboard and support new resell partners, support and grow existing resell partners, manage joint partner opportunities, build the referral partner network, maintain technology partner relationships and drive third party revenue as appropriate, etc.)
  • Work with the CRO to identify key partner markets, build and execute the strategic partner go-to-market plan.
  • Identify and analyze new potential referral and resell partners and technology partner products.
  • Launch and manage key strategic sales partner relationships including onboarding, education, training certifications, and work with marketing to create tools and plans.
  • Develop revenue share models for new business partnerships to support Magaya sales & profit goals.
  • Responsible for the partner revenue goals.
  • Maintain a regular cadence with key referral, resell and technology partners.
  • Work with referral and resell partners to develop sales strategies to identify, sell and close new client deals and grow existing customers.
  • Represent Magaya in external meetings with executives from partner companies and attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events as required.
  • Work with executive management and legal to create and maintain referral, resell and technology partner agreements.
  • Create partner value propositions to support the Magaya footprint and to identify ROI
  • Be a Magaya solution expert and a supply chain subject matter expert.
  • Use the Magaya sales tool to manage partner pipeline, opportunity, accounts, relationships.
  • Create and submit partner reports and/or dashboards as required by leadership.
  • Ensure partners deliver customer success through ongoing enablement, technology innovation and adherence to best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The following represents a general guideline of the qualifications necessary to be successful in this position.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field of study. Master’s degree preferable
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in partner sales and program management in the logistics supply chain industry
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution management skills
  • Ability to identify and close new business opportunities
  • Proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, CRM, partner management software experience
  • Highly motivated, results driven and able to work independently
  • Process oriented
  • Ability to travel 50% or more as required
  • Applicable supply chain software, sales and/or partner industry experience required
  • Consistent track record of building, developing, and managing high performing teams
  • Excellent planning, organizational, oral, and written communication skills
  • Variable compensation based on performance and sales goals
  • Will consider contractors outside the US with equivalent salary adjustments
