Role: Marketing Manager

Reports to: Director, Marketing

FLSA: Exempt

Location: Remote or Hybrid

Why is this role important at Genesee Scientific?

The Marketing Manager is a strategic leader focused on data analytics, market research, Voice of the Customer (VOC), and project management to drive growth. In this role, you will create actionable insights, optimize media strategies, and enhance customer experiences across campaigns. Working closely with the go to market teams, you will deliver impactful marketing insights, support product adoption, and provide data-driven recommendations for brand growth. You will also develop case studies, benchmarks, and onboarding content for new partners, advancing our analytics capabilities and refining tools for effective decision-making.

What Will You Do

  • Support development and execution of annual marketing strategy aligned with Genesee brand goals
  • Implement VOC programs to integrate customer feedback into campaign
  • Create and provide sales tools to support and enhance the efficiency of the sales team
  • Set and track KPIs to measure campaign success
  • Develops and implements Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Collaborate on media campaigns to balance brand awareness and conversions
  • Optimize prospecting and remarketing with A/B testing to boost conversions
  • Enhance customer journeys with UX, SEO, and CRM teams
  • Provide data-driven insights for continuous campaign improvement
  • Lead the project management of sales promotions, including overseeing the intake process, coordinating of product management, and driving product promotions and sales campaigns
  • Report campaign performance and recommendations to leadership
  • Monitor industry trends and explore growth opportunities
  • Build and manage relationships with external partners for campaign success
  • Conduct market research to inform marketing strategy
  • Oversee cross-functional initiatives for alignment and efficiency

Requirements

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights and measurable marketing results
  • Experience managing digital campaigns across various platforms (Google, Meta, etc.)
  • Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, and other ad platforms
  • Project Management experience is critical, PMP certificate a plus
  • Experience in creating multi-channel media plans in support of eCommerce objectives
  • Ability to analyze metrics and KPIs and transform into compelling stories
  • Strong understanding and experience with A/B testing fundamentals, implementation, and platforms like Optimize and Google Optimize, along with expertise in conversion rate optimization and attribution model
  • Desire to work as part of a team, but also able to work independently, pay attention to details and solve problems quickly
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Teams; experience with other business management software is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and effectively manage multiple priorities

Starting Salary $120,000.00, with potential for higher pay based on experience.
