Our active medical and surgical practice includes satellite office sites throughout central and eastern Georgia and a retina-only surgical center, on-site within our main office in Augusta. Our practice is a leading clinical research site as we participate in over 25 active industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated clinical trials. We have a research staff of over 12 staff running a clinical research unit consisting of two exam lanes, acuity lane, coordinator and monitor rooms all housed in our main office. Opportunity for a faculty appointment at the Medical College of Georgia, as well as resident and fellow training exist.
The ideal candidate will have a focus on excellent outcomes, sound clinical judgement, ethical decision-making, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and motivation to contribute to the growth of our practice. Who is EHA?
Eye Health America™ (EHA) was established in 2018 by LLR Partners to support the expansion of leading eye care practices in the Southeastern U.S. through both organic growth and acquisition initiatives.
Led by an experienced team of eye care industry leaders with over 100 years of combined practice management experience, EHA partners with best-in-class eye care practices and ambulatory surgery centers in the region to offer full-service, integrated eye care. With a focus on the Southeast, EHA provides superior strategic and operational support to practice groups and ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), enabling them to focus on delivering the highest standards of clinical care and patient satisfaction while meeting a rapidly growing need for eye care.
EHAs group consists of 45+ MDs and 45+ ODs located in FL, GA, and SC at our 58 locations and 10 ASCs. Throughout our region, EHA offers the personal attention of highly skilled, nationally recognized doctors utilizing state-of-the art technology across the spectrum of vision care for full-service medical and surgical care, including all subspecialty areas. Extensive administrative, marketing, IT, RCM, accounting and practice support is also provided.
About the Area:
Augusta, Georgia is a small classic southern city on the Savannah River and has a catchment population of 500,000. Augusta has a warm climate but with four full seasons and great opportunities for all outdoor recreational activities including world-renowned golf as home to the Masters golf tournament. Our community, known as the “Garden City”, boasts a very low cost of living, especially for housing and beautiful residential neighborhoods. Augusta has an undergraduate university and medical school with a strong but not overpopulated ophthalmic and medical community. We are a 2+ hour drive to Atlanta, the mountains or to the ocean.
