Description

The Regional Optical Manager is responsible for the overall management of multiple optical locations. This includes overseeing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, managing inventory, and achieving sales targets. The Optical Manager plays a crucial role in creating a positive and efficient work environment while promoting the store's products and services.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

· Recruit, train, and supervise optical staff.

· Set performance expectations, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.

· Create a positive and collaborative work environment.

· Ensure exceptional customer service is consistently provided.

· Address customer inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.

· Foster a customer-centric culture among staff.

· Set and achieve sales targets and revenue goals.

· Implement sales strategies and promotional activities to drive business growth.

· Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions as needed.

· Manage optical product inventory, including frames, lenses, and accessories.

· Monitor stock levels, reorder products, and conduct regular inventory audits.

· Oversee the provision of optical services, including eye exams, fittings, and adjustments.

· Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

· Implement and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency.

· Monitor and manage daily operations, including scheduling, staffing, and equipment maintenance.

· Collaborate with marketing teams to implement promotional activities and advertising campaigns.

· Identify opportunities to enhance the store's visibility in the local community.

· Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

· Implement quality assurance measures to uphold the highest standards of service and product quality.

· Prepare regular reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics.

· Provide updates to senior management on the store's overall performance.

· Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in business, retail management, or a related field or equivalent experience.

· Previous experience in retail management, especially in the optical or eyewear industry.

· Familiarity with optical equipment and products.
