Description

Clemson Eye, an affiliate of Eye Health America, is a growing, multi-specialty ophthalmology practice. As an Aesthetic RN, you are required to examine, assess, and elect treatments for patients to reduce the signs of aging, correct loss of fascial volume, improve appearance, etc. Patients are seen in a private clinic setting on an average of 4 days per week. Duties also include the documentation of the patient visit and treatment in E.H.R.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Perform medical aesthetic procedures according to our established clinical policies and protocol and under the direction of the Aesthetic Medical Director.

· Perform injections and filler treatments.

· Demonstrate proficient knowledge of skin and underlining skin structures.

· Contribute to safe and positive client experience, while adhering to our strict client confidentiality policy and HIPPA.

· Maintain a clean procedure room in accordance with OSHA requirements.

· Notifies the Aesthetic Director when leaving the patient care area, or when they will be out of office for any reason.

· Educate clients as to treatment specifics, after care instruction and maintenance. Take preop/postop photos, download to computer and attach to client record.

· Maintain accurate client treatment records and efficient documentation.

· Conduct client consultations prior to treatment offered.

· Actively acquire new clients to practice by working with Marketing Director in the use of social media, heading up promotions and events, developing relationships with retail and professional resources, networking; cross sell surgical and nonsurgical procedures, up-sell procedure/ products, actively advances the growth of the practice and patient retention.

· Participate in cross marketing as well as other sales events. Solicit online reviews, fans to social media, consent for website display.

· Maintain continuing education in the field of Aesthetics to provide the highest quality of care and optical patient outcomes.

· Participate in staff meetings and seminars recommended by Aesthetic Medical Director.

· Participate in regularly scheduled quality assurance meetings to ensure the highest quality standards of patient care.

· Maintains a valid license in accordance with state regulations.

· Follows procedure for any trade agreements made with approval from Marketing (see Marketing Trade agreements guidelines below).
