Job Description: Perioperative RN

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Perioperative RN to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing nursing care and support to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. This is a highly specialized nursing role that requires a deep understanding of surgical procedures, patient care, and medical equipment.

Responsibilities:

- Provide preoperative assessment and care to patients

- Monitor patients during surgical procedures and provide support to the surgical team

- Administer medications and anesthesia as directed by the surgical team

- Provide postoperative care and support to patients, including pain management and wound care

- Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes to the surgical team

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes

Requirements:

- Active RN license in the state of practice

- Minimum of 2 years of perioperative nursing experience

- Knowledge of surgical procedures, medical equipment, and anesthesia administration

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
