Position:
The Sales Manager will lead the sales and account management teams for DaySmart Pet and Time To Pet, converting company strategy into clear, measurable actions and driving execution across both product lines. This role owns team revenue targets, coaches representatives to quota attainment, and surfaces blockers and opportunities to senior leadership.
Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals across both product lines, fostering a high-performance, accountability-driven culture.
- Establish and maintain consistent coaching rhythms (1:1s, deal reviews, pipeline inspections) to improve sales effectiveness and rep productivity.
- Identify performance gaps and deploy targeted action plans to drive individual and team quota attainment.
- Diagnose the root causes of operational blockers and drive data-driven resolutions.
Operations & Enablement
- Optimize and standardize sales processes, CRM best practices, and enablement materials to improve visibility and productivity.
- Ensure strong pipeline hygiene and data integrity across systems.
- Partner with Sales Enablement to equip the team with the tools, training, and content needed to succeed.
Strategy Execution & Quota Attainment
- Align the sales team to company go-to-market (GTM) priorities as communicated by Senior and Executive Leadership.
- Own and deliver team revenue targets, including new business, expansion, payment attachments, and add-on products.
- Communicate goals, KPIs, and leadership directives clearly to the sales team.
- Hold each sales representative accountable for activity, pipeline, and quota attainment.
- Take corrective action when performance falls short of expectations, including performance improvement plans or personnel changes as needed.
- Forecast accurately and report performance to senior leadership on a weekly/monthly basis.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in sales management, preferably in SaaS or subscription-based businesses.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding team revenue targets.
- Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Intercom) and sales enablement tools.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience working at or managing a pet care business preferred.
- Coaching-first leadership style.
- Highly disciplined, with the ability to prioritize and balance short- and long-term objectives to achieve organizational goals.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable operating in rapidly changing, scaling environments.
- High emotional intelligence, with the ability to hold both oneself and others accountable.
The salary for this role is $150,000 OTE per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, internal equity, etc.

How You Will Work
This position is remote (U.S. based only). You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams across product, security, and SRE to design and operate platform services.We support flexible schedules to balance deep work and collaboration across time zones. Our other office locations:-
- Austin, TX
- Scottsdale, AZ
- Wayne, PA
Many DaySmart employees primarily work from home, and our teams are structured to operate efficiently in a distributed environment. While we don’t always share a physical office, we work together closely through remote collaboration practices.
