DaySmart supercharges experienced-based businesses with innovative, industry-specific software services that power customer and revenue growth. With thousands of partners worldwide and dozens of industry awards, we provide best-in-class solutions to accelerate their business.

DaySmart Beauty is a leading provider of cloud-based business management software for salons, spas, and tattoo studios. With over 20 years of industry expertise, we empower beauty and wellness professionals to simplify scheduling, payments, client communication, and marketing, helping them save time, enhance client experiences, and grow their businesses.

The Role:

We’re looking for a high-output Account Executive who thrives on volume, moves fast, and closes with confidence. This is a primarily inbound role—you’ll work a steady stream of qualified leads—but you’ll also be expected to generate your own pipeline through outbound prospecting. The best candidates have competed in high-performance sales environments, take pride in their activity metrics, and don’t leave deals on the table.

If you treat every inbound lead as a hot opportunity, you send follow-ups within minutes (not hours), and you genuinely enjoy closing deals, then this role is for you.

Collaboration Hours:

PST or MST time zone strongly preferred to support 9–5 PST business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own your inbound queue: respond to leads quickly, qualify thoroughly, and advance every viable opportunity without delay
  • Run a high volume of daily activities (calls, emails, texts) to work inbound leads and build outbound pipeline in parallel
  • Deliver compelling product demos that connect DaySmart’s capabilities directly to each prospect’s pain points
  • Close new business consistently: hit and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets through a disciplined, relentless follow-up cadence
  • Prospect outbound through cold calling, emailing, texting, referrals, and industry networking to supplement inbound volume
  • Qualify leads efficiently to protect your time and focus energy on highest-probability opportunities
  • Drive Payment Processing attachment with every new customer acquisition (this is a core performance metric)
  • Maintain meticulous Salesforce hygiene: leads, opportunities, activity logs, and pipeline stages updated in real time
  • Become a subject-matter expert on DaySmart Beauty products, positioning, and the competitive landscape
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with onboarding, support, and product teams to ensure customer satisfaction from day one

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of SaaS sales experience with a track record of closing at high velocity—inbound experience strongly preferred
  • Proven outbound prospecting skills: you’re comfortable cold calling, handling objections, and creating opportunities from scratch
  • Activity-driven mindset: you measure yourself by dials, connects, demos booked, and deals closed, not just quota attainment
  • Closing mentality: you follow up persistently, create urgency naturally, and don’t let deals stall
  • Fast, thorough worker: you respond to leads quickly, take complete notes, and keep your pipeline accurate without being asked
  • Experience thriving in a high-performance culture where metrics are visible, accountability is real, and top performers are recognized
  • Strong ability to present technology in plain language and demonstrate value to small business owners
  • Familiarity with the beauty industry (salons, spas, tattoo studios) is highly preferred
  • Experience selling or onboarding payment processing solutions is highly preferred
  • Proficiency with Salesforce; experience with Gong, Salesloft, and Intercom

Salary

  • Base salary: $55,000–$60,000 depending on experience.
  • On-target earnings: $110,000–$115,000 with variable pay plan.
  • Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, experience, certifications, internal equity, etc.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, and more!
  • 401k plan with company match on your contributions.
  • Open PTO and a generous paid holiday schedule.
  • Supportive work environment with the flexibility to work where/how you want – in-office, remote, or hybrid.
  • Opportunities to ensure you are always learning and growing.

How You Will Work

This will be a US based position. We offer flexible work arrangements including fully remote, in person or hybrid opportunities. For those looking to work in person, we have physical offices in the following cities:

  • Ann Arbor, MI
  • Wayne, PA
  • Austin, TX

Many DaySmart employees primarily work from home, and our teams are structured to operate efficiently in a distributed environment. While we don’t always share a physical office, we work together closely through remote collaboration practices.

We maintain a highly collaborative culture and expect all employees to actively participate in meetings, discussions, and team interactions. This includes joining scheduled video calls with cameras on, contributing to conversations, and being fully present.

We believe that strong communication and visual connection are essential to maintaining alignment, accountability, and trust across our teams. At DaySmart, working remotely comes with the responsibility to show up, engage, and collaborate with intention.
