Position

We’re looking for a high-impact Accounting Manager to join our growing finance team and partner closely with the Corporate Controller. This role will own key accounting operations, lead the monthly closing, and help scale our accounting infrastructure as we continue to grow.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, enjoys solving operational challenges, and wants to help build scalable systems and processes. You’ll play a critical role in integrating acquired companies, improving automation, and driving operational excellence across the accounting function.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the end-to-end monthly close process
  • Oversee general ledger, revenue recognition, AR, and AP
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
  • Help integrate newly acquired companies into our financial systems and processes
  • Standardize accounting workflows across entities as we scale
  • Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and improve the close process
  • Drive improvements in ERP systems and accounting infrastructure (NetSuite)
  • Partner with finance leadership on financial analysis, reporting, and strategic initiatives
  • Support audit processes and internal controls
  • Lead and mentor accounting team members and coordinate with external partners

Requirements

  • 5+ years of accounting experience with 2 years of team leadership
  • Experience in a SaaS company (subscription revenue preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Experience managing the full monthly close cycle
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite or similar ERP
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills
  • A systems thinker who enjoys improving processes and building scalable operations
  • Someone who thrives in a high-growth, fast-moving environment

Preferred

  • CPA certification
  • Experience with M&A integration or acquired company accounting
  • Experience in private equity-backed or high-growth SaaS companies
  • Background in automation or AI-enabled finance tools
  • Prior experience in public accounting (Big Four or similar)

Salary

  • The salary for this role is $120,000 - $140,000 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, internal equity, etc.

How You Will Work

This will be a US based position. We offer flexible work arrangements including fully remote, in person or hybrid opportunities. For those looking to work in person, we have physical offices in the following cities:

  • Ann Arbor, MI
  • Wayne, PA
  • Austin, TX
