We are adding a Data Analyst to our Recreation Business Unit to lead analytics initiatives, focusing on insights for marketing and product. You’ll build things from the ground up, tackling data challenges that directly impact our providers and our internal team.

Collaboration Hours:

  • 9am to 5pm EST, Mon – Fri
  • This is a fully remote position based in the United States

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a data partner for our marketing, product, and customer success teams, providing both day-to-day support and longer-term strategic analyses
  • Collaborate with the product and marketing teams to design metrics, build funnels, and strategize how to measure the success of projects
  • Build and maintain key company dashboards, self-service reporting tools, and the data models that support them
  • Work with people across the organization to conduct analyses and support decision-making
  • Own the end-to-end analytics workflow, from defining the question and pulling data to delivering insights and recommendations
  • Translate ambiguous questions into clear analyses and actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of professional experience in a quantitative or analytical role
  • Proficient writing SQL to query relational databases (we use Postgres and Redshift)
  • Comfortable using Excel to explore data and communicate your findings
  • Experience designing reports and dashboards in a data visualization or business intelligence tool (we use Metabase and Sigma)
  • Experience planning and conducting A/B tests
  • Skilled communicator and collaborator, and experience working with a variety of stakeholders
  • Curious about how things work and eager to use that curiosity to solve challenging problems
  • Experience with analyzing large amounts of data
  • Prefer experience with dbt and/or Mage

Salary

  • The salary range for this role is $85,000 to $95,000 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, internal equity, etc.

How You Will Work

This will be a US based position. We offer flexible work arrangements including fully remote, in person or hybrid opportunities. For those looking to work in person, we have physical offices in the following cities:

  • Ann Arbor, MI
  • Wayne, PA
  • Austin, TX
