DaySmart has a career opportunity focused on sales for our leading veterinary practice management software (PMS) solution currently serving over 2,200 veterinary practices worldwide. The product is delivered through a sophisticated but simple to use cloud-based solution that offers a broad spectrum of innovation and integrations that help coordinate and improve the care and health of the world’s animals.

This unique opportunity requires a highly motivated inside sales professional that has proven experience driving the close without sacrificing the journey of a more enterprise minded prospect. A successful salesperson in this role will have excellent communication skills, are driven to succeed, love selling, and have a strong SaaS background.

Responsibilities

  • Build business opportunities to grow revenue through prospecting, outbound calling, e-mail, and texting activities.
  • Qualify prospects to quickly assess the business opportunity.
  • Assess the needs of a prospect’s veterinary practice and how the software will address the needs.
  • Effectively tailor demonstrate the software towards the needs of the practice.
  • Efficiently follow up with prospects to drive the close.
  • Leverage client referrals, associations, and networking to build sales pipeline.
  • Update and manage leads, opportunities and accounts using Salesforce.
  • Achieve all planned sales objectives, metrics, and targets monthly and quarterly by proactively selling via telephone to prospective new customer base.
  • Some travel may be required including travel to industry trade shows and conferences.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years inside sales experience selling software solutions.
  • Specific performance metrics that demonstrate success in past sales roles where you have met or exceeded your goals.
  • Experience demonstrating software as part of the selling process which does not include the reliance on an Application Engineer.
  • An ability to respond with a sense of urgency in a Sales driven culture.
  • Proven experience effectively presenting technology and articulating the benefits of implementation.
  • Experience working with a veterinary practice and other pet industry software solutions is an added plus.
  • Experience working with Salesforce and SalesLoft is an added plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that drive engagement and are persuasive.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team skills that drives collaboration and sound decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

Salary

  • The salary for this role is $60,000 per year with a variable pay plan worth an additional $60,000, equating to an on-target earning of $120,000 per year.

How You Will Work

This will be a US based position. We offer flexible work arrangements including fully remote, in person or hybrid opportunities. For those looking to work in person, we have physical offices in the following cities:

  • Wayne, PA
  • Austin, TX
