DaySmart supercharges experienced-based businesses with innovative, industry-specific software services that power customer and revenue growth. With thousands of partners worldwide and dozens of industry awards, we provide best-in-class solutions to accelerate their business.

We’re hiring a Senior Director of Sales to oversee our Pet Business Unit, which includes three products delivering SaaS solutions across Veterinary, Grooming, Daycare, Boarding, and In-Home Services through a mix of sales-led and product-led growth (PLG) models.

As the Senior Director of Sales, you will be responsible for driving revenue and new unit growth, scaling sales operations, and ensuring go-to-market alignment across teams. Reporting to the GM, you’ll lead a 13-person sales organization and work closely with Revenue Operations, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to design scalable processes and remove friction in the sales cycle.

This role is ideal for a seasoned, analytical sales leader who enjoys solving complex problems, refining processes, and building data-driven strategies — someone who can zoom out to set direction but also dig into the details to ensure the team is executing effectively. Proven experience leading enterprise sales efforts, particularly large multi-unit or multi-location engagements, is required.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing sales team (~13 people) across three B2B SaaS products.
  • Own and exceed new revenue targets for the Pet Business Unit.
  • Partner closely with RevOps to optimize sales processes and pipeline visibility.
  • Design and implement GTM strategies that balance sales-led and PLG motions across diverse customer segments.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the sales funnel, ensuring scalable systems and repeatable success.
  • Use data and insights to guide decision-making, from rep performance metrics to market opportunity sizing.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, ensuring clarity of goals and excellence in execution.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role managing teams and revenue targets.
  • Proven track record of driving growth in complex, multi-product or multi-segment sales environments.
  • Experience selling to enterprise and multi-location customers (e.g., franchises, consolidators, or regional groups).
  • Deep understanding of sales operations, forecasting, and revenue funnel management in both sales-led and PLG models.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve operational and strategic challenges to improve sales efficiency and outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and process-oriented mindset, with excellent business and commercial acumen.
  • Passion for or experience in the pet care, veterinary, or adjacent SaaS industries is a plus.

Salary

  • The salary for this position is $160,000 per year, with an additional $50,000 in variable compensation, for total on-target earnings of $210,000 annually.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, and more!
  • 401k plan with company match on your contributions.
  • Open PTO and a generous paid holiday schedule.
  • Supportive work environment with the flexibility to work where/how you want – in-office, remote, or hybrid.
  • Opportunities to ensure you are always learning and growing.

This will be a US based position. We offer flexible work arrangements including fully remote, in person or hybrid opportunities. For those looking to work in person, we have physical offices in the following cities:
