The Marketing Shared Services team partners with our business units to execute go-to-market strategies and maximize marketing results. We manage creative and brand, website management and design, martech, and marketing analytics. This role is part of Website Management within Shared Services and supports multiple DaySmart brands.
About the Role
We're seeking a Marketing Analytics Manager to transform marketing data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. This role combines technical analytics expertise with digital marketing knowledge to ensure our marketing data infrastructure is robust, our attribution is accurate, and our leadership has the insights they need to optimize marketing investment. You'll be the bridge between raw data and business intelligence, owning everything from conversion tracking to executive dashboards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Data & Attribution
- Own and manage our marketing attribution model in Redshift, including data architecture, modeling, and optimization
- Write and maintain complex SQL queries, views, and procedures to extract, transform, and analyze marketing data across the customer journey
- Design and implement data models that accurately attribute revenue and pipeline to marketing activities
- Partner with Marketing Ops and SF Admin groups to ensure data collection and standardization is in place to drive quality outputs
2. Business Intelligence & Reporting
- Build, maintain, and optimize Tableau dashboards for marketing leadership and stakeholders
- Create self-service reporting solutions that enable teams to access real-time performance data
- Consolidate data from multiple sources (CRM, advertising platforms, web analytics, marketing automation, etc.) into cohesive, actionable reports
- Translate complex data findings into clear, executive-ready insights and recommendations
3. Digital Analytics Infrastructure
- Manage Google Analytics (GA4) implementation and ensure accurate data collection
- Manage conversion tracking and pixel implementation across advertising platforms, ensuring our ad agencies are equipped with down-funnel data to optimize campaigns
- Troubleshoot tracking issues and ensure data accuracy for campaign optimization
- Collaborate with digital marketing teams to ensure they have the data needed for decision-making
4. Strategic Analysis & Insights
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on marketing performance, ROI, and efficiency
- Develop and monitor KPIs that align with business objectives
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership
- Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness through data-driven insights
Required
- 4+ years of experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or data analysis roles
- Strong SQL proficiency with experience managing marketing databases in data warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar)
- Proven experience building and optimizing dashboards in Tableau (or similar BI tools)
- Hands-on experience with Google Analytics (GA4) and understanding of digital conversion tracking and pixel implementation
- Demonstrated ability to consolidate data from multiple sources and create unified reporting views
- Experience with marketing attribution models and understanding of multi-touch attribution methodologies
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills—ability to present complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred
- Experience in a B2B or SaaS marketing environment
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (Marketo, Hubspot) and CRM systems (Salesforce)
- Knowledge of Python or R for advanced statistical analysis
- Experience with advertising platform APIs (Google, Meta, LinkedIn)
- Understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and their impact on analytics
- Experience with Google Tag Manager
- Background in statistics or data science

Salary
The salary range for this role is $90,000-$110,000 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, internal equity, etc.

How You Will Work
This will be a US based position. We offer flexible work arrangements including fully remote, in person or hybrid opportunities. For those looking to work in person, we have physical offices in the following cities:
- Ann Arbor, MI
- Wayne, PA
- Austin, TX
Many DaySmart employees primarily work from home, and our teams are structured to operate efficiently in a distributed environment. While we don’t always share a physical office, we work together closely through remote collaboration practices.
