Position Overview
The VP of Marketing – Beauty will define and execute comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to the Beauty space, especially in light of new M&A initiatives and expansion from international markets to the US. This role requires deep expertise in demand generation, go-to-market strategy, customer lifecycle marketing, and cross-functional leadership. The role includes direct oversight of both sales and customer experience teams, requiring strong leadership capabilities across revenue-generating functions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Brand & Demand Generation

Lead the end-to-end marketing strategy for DaySmart Beauty, including adapting an international brand for US salon audiences.

Design and execute demand generation campaigns that position the M&A brand’s ICP as the preferred choice for modern beauty professionals in the US.

Build top-of-funnel awareness through content, digital campaigns, SEO, events, and brand storytelling that drive pipeline growth.
Go-to-Market (GTM) Execution

Own the US GTM plan for M&A expansion and launches, including developing targeted positioning, pricing strategies, and ideal customer profiles (ICPs).

Spearhead market-entry campaigns into priority regions, aligning with cross-functional stakeholders across product, sales, and customer success.

Leverage international market credibility alongside new US customer proof points to fuel acquisition and growth momentum.
Customer Acquisition & Lifecycle Marketing

Develop segmented acquisition funnels tailored for both the M&A brand and DaySmart Beauty.

Execute localized and personalized campaigns using paid social, email, influencer marketing, and other digital strategies.

Create lifecycle marketing programs including onboarding, engagement, and upsell journeys, with seamless migration paths from M&A offerings to broader DaySmart solutions.
Customer Experience Team Oversight

Manage the customer experience organization, including customer support teams and onboarding specialists.

Establish customer retention programs, and expansion strategies to maximize customer lifetime value.

Implement customer feedback loops and programs to inform product development and marketing messaging.

Drive customer advocacy initiatives including case studies, references, and customer marketing programs.

Oversee customer onboarding processes to ensure seamless product adoption and time-to-value optimization.
Team Leadership & Global Alignment

Lead a comprehensive US-based GTM organization encompassing marketing, sales, customer experience, and product disciplines focused on Beauty growth.

Drive strategic alignment with international teams to preserve brand integrity while enabling localized execution in the US market.

Monitor and report on key KPIs including adoption, CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost), retention, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction metrics.

Foster cross-functional collaboration between marketing, sales, and customer experience to ensure seamless customer journeys and revenue optimization.
Marketing Leadership

Lead a multidisciplinary marketing team responsible for branding, digital, field, partner, and product marketing initiatives.

Set clear KPIs and performance benchmarks that align with company objectives.

Partner closely with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure marketing is a strategic driver of revenue.
M&A Marketing Integration

Evaluate marketing impact of M&A opportunities and lead post-acquisition integration including brand unification, messaging, and customer migration strategies.

Ensure seamless communication strategies that maintain trust and continuity for acquired customers.
Qualifications
-
10+ years of B2B SaaS experience with 7+ years in marketing leadership roles, ideally within Beauty Tech, vertical SaaS, or high-growth environments.

Demonstrated success building, scaling, and leading sales organizations with proven track record of achieving revenue targets and managing sales team performance.

Proven track record of building and leading customer experience teams with strong focus on retention and expansion.

Experience managing customer success programs including retention strategies, expansion initiatives, and customer lifecycle optimization

Marketing leadership experience within Beauty Tech, vertical SaaS, or high-growth environments preferred.

Proven ability to hire, coach, and develop high-performing sales and customer success professionals with strong track record of team retention and performance improvement.

Experience with M&A marketing integration, global-local brand strategy, and cross-border team coordination.

Deep expertise in sales methodologies, CRM management, and customer success frameworks including experience with sales process optimization and customer health scoring.

Advanced proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM platforms, customer success platforms, and sales enablement tools.

Data-driven leader with proven experience managing sales productivity metrics, customer health KPIs, and revenue forecasting, churn analysis, and expansion revenue tracking.

Exceptional people leadership skills with experience managing teams across multiple functions and driving organizational change in fast-growth environments.
Salary
The salary range for this role is $160,000 to $200,000 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, internal equity, etc.
