We are looking for an experienced sales leader who comes from the beauty industry and has a deep knowledge of the industries challenges, and how software solutions can drive operational and financial success for salons, spas, and beauty professionals. As a Director of Sales to lead and scale our team of inbound and outbound solution consultants. This role is perfect for a sales leader who has a deep understanding of the beauty software industry, thrives on data-driven decision-making, and knows how to inspire a high-performing team. You will own revenue targets, refine sales strategies, and ensure our team consistently delivers outstanding results.
What You Will Do
- Lead, mentor, and scale a team of solution consultants responsible for signing new customers and driving upsells
- Responsible for revenue across all sources: sales, reactivations, upsells, partnerships, and churn preventions
- Develop and execute sales strategies that align with company goals and industry trends
- Use data to analyze team performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive decisions that enhance conversion rates
- Build and refine sales processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
- Work closely with marketing, customer success, and product teams to ensure alignment and capitalize on market opportunities
- Foster a high-performance culture that encourages accountability, creativity, and continuous learning
- Stay ahead of industry trends and customer needs to position DaySmart Beauty as the top choice for beauty businesses
What You Bring
- Strong Business Acumen: Must have deep knowledge of the beauty industry, its challenges, and how software solutions can drive operational and financial success for salons, spas, and beauty professionals.
- Proven Sales Leadership: A strong track record of success in sales leadership roles within the beauty software industry, with experience leading inbound and outbound sales teams focused on new customer acquisition and upselling
- Consultative Selling Expertise: A deep understanding of consultative and solution-based selling approaches, with the ability to train and coach a team on guiding prospects through a value-driven sales process
- Data-Driven Leadership: Experience using key sales performance metrics to drive accountability and optimize team performance. Ability to track both revenue and input metrics such as call activity, pipeline velocity, and conversion rates
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Tableau, Gong, and Salesloft, with the ability to use these tools to track performance, analyze trends, and refine sales strategies
- Accountability & Team Development: A leadership style that holds the team accountable not just for revenue outcomes but for the behaviors and actions that drive those outcomes, including outreach activity, pipeline health, and customer engagement metrics
- Process Optimization: Ability to refine and implement sales playbooks, optimize lead routing and follow-up, and enhance sales enablement strategies
- Communication & Influence: Outstanding communication skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop sales professionals while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
Compensation
- Base salary of 100K to 120K with a commission plan worth an additional 100K (OTE of 200K to 220K). Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, internal equity, etc.

This will be a US based position. We offer flexible work arrangements including fully remote, in person or hybrid opportunities. For those looking to work in person, we have physical offices in the following cities:
- Ann Arbor, MI
- Scottsdale, AZ
- Wayne, PA
- Austin, TX
Many DaySmart employees primarily work from home, and our teams are structured to operate efficiently in a distributed environment. While we don’t always share a physical office, we work together closely through remote collaboration practices.
We maintain a highly collaborative culture and expect all employees to actively participate in meetings, discussions, and team interactions. This includes joining scheduled video calls with cameras on, contributing to conversations, and being fully present.
