Sona powered by Celero is looking for a Business Development Manager (Account Executive) to drive growth by proactively identifying, pursuing, and closing new accounts. As a Business Development Manager (Account Executive) you’ll play a critical part in expanding our customer base, leveraging your prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills to deliver tailored payment solutions that align with our customers’ unique needs. Responsibilities

· Prospect and Generate Leads- Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities using cold calling, networking, social media, and referrals to consistently build a robust sales pipeline.

· Drive Full Sales Cycle- Qualify prospects, present solutions, and close sales deals to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets.

· Develop Relationships- Establish strong relationships with prospective clients, becoming a trusted advisor for their payment processing needs.

· Pipeline Management- Use CRM tools to track all sales activities, ensuring accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility.

· Market Intelligence- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging payment technologies to position yourself as a subject matter expert.

· Collaborate with Teams- Work closely with internal departments (customer success, operations, etc.) to ensure seamless onboarding and excellent client experience.

Experience & Requirements

· Proven Sales Hunter – A track record of success in prospecting and closing new business in a competitive B2B environment.

· Exceptional Communicator – Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate value propositions and drive customer buy-in.

· Self-Motivated & Goal-Oriented – A results-driven mindset with a passion for exceeding sales targets and driving growth.

· Customer-Focused Problem Solver – Ability to actively listen, understand customer pain points, and position tailored payment solutions that drive impact.

· Tech-Savvy & Adaptable – Comfortable working with CRM tools and quick to learn the ins and outs of payment solutions and emerging technologies.

· Industry Experience Preferred – Background in payments, finance, or a related field is a plus.
