About the Job
You'll provide evidence-based virtual mental health services to patients across CareATC's employer-sponsored healthcare programs. Rather than supporting a single health center or client, you'll help expand access to behavioral health care where it's needed across our organization.
You'll work collaboratively with CareATC's clinical teams while helping patients navigate anxiety, depression, stress, relationships, life transitions, and other behavioral health needs.
What You'll Do
Provide evidence-based individual counseling through virtual care
Support patients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, and other behavioral health needs
Develop individualized care plans using strengths-based, whole-person approaches
Coordinate referrals to psychiatry, long-term therapy, crisis services, or community resources when appropriate
Collaborate with medical and clinical partners to support integrated, whole-person care
Provide outreach, education, and wellness support based on patient and client needs
Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and follow applicable telehealth and state practice requirements
What You'll Bring
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field
Active, unrestricted independent clinical license, such as LCSW, LPC/LCPC, LMFT, or equivalent
Current licensure in Kentucky, Indiana, and/or Georgia, with the ability and willingness to obtain and maintain additional state licenses based on coverage needs
At least 12 months of recent experience providing evidence-based individual counseling in a mental health or healthcare setting
Comfort providing care virtually and working with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems
Strong communication skills and ability to build meaningful therapeutic relationships in a virtual environment
Multi-state licensure and experience providing integrated behavioral health services within primary care, employer-sponsored healthcare, or virtual care is strongly preferred
