About the Job
We are looking for a compassionate and patient-focused Medical Assistant to support day-to-day clinical and operational functions within a Health Center setting.
In this role, you’ll assist providers with patient care, perform clinical and administrative duties, and help ensure a seamless patient experience from check-in through follow-up care.
The ideal candidate is adaptable, team-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional patient service and high-quality care.
What You’ll Do
Greet and room patients while creating a positive patient experience
Measure and document vital signs, patient history, and clinical information
Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during patient visits
Perform phlebotomy and collect blood and urine samples
Support front office and administrative clinic functions as needed
Maintain accurate documentation and follow clinical protocols and workflows
Deliver concierge-level customer service and compassionate patient care
Exercise sound clinical judgment within scope of role
What You’ll Bring
High school diploma or equivalent required
Current BLS Certification required

One of the following qualifications:
Completion of a formal Medical Assistant program with diploma/certificate and at least 2 years of recent Medical Assistant experience
Minimum 3 years of recent Medical Assistant experience obtained through on-the-job training
Relevant military medic experience
Strong patient care, communication, and customer service skills
Phlebotomy experience preferred
One year of recent experience in a medical setting with Occupational training is strongly preferred
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered clinical environment
