About the Job

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Area Operations Director (AOD) to oversee the performance and operations of multiple Health Centers within an assigned region.

You’ll be responsible for operational performance, team leadership, service consistency, and client satisfaction across your sites. This role works closely with Area Medical Directors and Client Success leaders to support high-performing clinics and deliver exceptional patient experiences.

Location Requirement

Candidates must reside in Utah. Approximately 40% regional travel is required.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead operations across multiple health centers, ensuring efficient and consistent service delivery

  • Drive performance across KPIs related to patient experience, operational excellence, and client satisfaction

  • Coach and develop clinic leaders and regional team members

  • Partner cross-functionally with clinical, operational, and client stakeholders

  • Identify operational challenges and implement process improvements

  • Ensure compliance with AAAHC and organizational standards

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of healthcare leadership experience

  • 3+ years of multi-site management experience

  • Strong operational and financial acumen, including budget and performance management

  • Experience leading teams within healthcare operations, ambulatory care, onsite clinics, or primary care environments preferred

  • Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
