Why CareATC is Different (and Why You'll Love It Here):
At CareATC, our employer-sponsored model creates a unique and rewarding environment:
-
Patients Win: They receive high-quality medical care, including dispensed medications, often with little to no out-of-pocket cost, leading to greater access and adherence.
-
You Win: Experience manageable productivity expectations, allowing you to focus on providing excellent care without the pressures of traditional settings.
-
Employers Win: They benefit from a healthier, happier, and more productive workforce, leading to reduced healthcare costs and a more engaged employee base.
About the Job:
Imagine walking into a clinic where the focus is fully on the patient, without the stress of insurance red tape or the pressure of volume-based care. As a PRN Physical Therapist here, you’ll join a collaborative team that puts patients first and empowers you to deliver the kind of therapy you've always envisioned. You'll partner with primary care providers and an interdisciplinary team to address diverse musculoskeletal issues, support chronic disease management, and create lasting change through movement and education.
What You’ll Do:
As directed by physician referral, you will provide physical therapy services in-clinic or virtually, focusing on effective, personalized patient care.
-
Conduct comprehensive musculoskeletal and screening assessments. Perform evaluations to establish functional goals, timeframes, and treatment plans.
-
Use adaptive equipment, therapeutic techniques, and modalities to provide direct, high-quality care.
-
Effectively communicate with patients, track progress, and regularly re-evaluate using standard tests. Revise goals and communicate changes to the physician as needed.
-
Coordinate care within the interdisciplinary team, including goal/discharge planning.
-
Provide necessary discharge instructions and home exercise programs to patients and families. Adhere strictly to all regulatory, HIPAA, infection control standards, and company policies.
-
Maintain strong performance on key company/patient care metrics (KPIs, NPS/PEX, and outcomes).
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
-
Graduate of a School of Physical Therapy approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
-
Current license or temporary permit to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida. Compact Licensure, where applicable.
-
One year of outpatient PT experience OR entry through an approved CareATC mentor program.
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills, time management, and professional customer interaction skills.
And Just as Important…
-
Adaptability & Flexibility: You thrive in evolving care environments and readily work with diverse patient populations on a variable, PRN schedule.
-
Team Spirit: You value shared goals, offer support to your colleagues, and contribute to a connected, mission-driven care team.
-
Commitment to Whole-Person Care: You see beyond the diagnosis, empowering patients to achieve lasting mobility and wellness.
