Hospital Financial Implementation Specialist

IN SUMMARY...
Azalea Health is seeking a Financial Implementation Specialist to support the delivery of our EHR and PM solutions. This role initially focuses on the financial back-end configuration of the Azalea system, ensuring accurate setup, validation, and integration with downstream financial systems. The role works closely with project leadership, product teams, and client stakeholders to ensure successful implementations and long-term operational stability.
WHAT YOU WILL DO...
- Configure and validate financial system data, including general ledger structure
components, charge workflows, and financial controls.
- Support financial discovery and design sessions to ensure system configuration aligns with client operational and reporting needs.
- Guide clients through industry best practices for revenue cycle and ensure set up of Azalea products support intended client financial outcomes.
- Review and assess client financial data for completeness, accuracy, and readiness prior to build activities, identifying financial risks or gaps early in the implementation lifecycle in order to mitigate appropriately.
- Collaborate with ERP, encoder, clearinghouse, and other integration partners to ensure accurate financial data flow.
- Partner with clinical and applications team members to ensure coordinated delivery across functional areas.
- Provide both remote and on-site subject matter expertise during all phases of the implementation.
- Support the delivery of other Azalea product lines as needed.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of implementation methodology,
standards, and documentation.
BACKGROUND AND SKILLS YOU WILL BRING...
- Experience supporting hospital financial systems or enterprise healthcare applications.
- Strong understanding of hospital financial back-end workflows, including accounting structures, with an expectation that scope will broaden over time to support wider implementation delivery needs.
- Ability to translate complex financial requirements into appropriate system
configurations.
- Comfort working in dynamic implementation environments with evolving
requirements.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Ability to travel up to 50%
