In Summary...

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the execution of assigned projects. This includes leading a team of subject matter experts, ensuring tasks are completed on time, and proactively identifying and addressing project risks through effective mitigation strategies. Additionally, the PM plays a key role in training and supporting Azalea Hospital clients, helping them master the software and maximize its potential. This position is pivotal in fostering and enhancing client relationships, ensuring long-term success and satisfaction.

What You Will Do...

  • Determine and define project scope, while assessing clients needs and objectives
  • Manage project team and implementation of product in an effective and efficient manner, both onsite and remotely.
  • Develop enhanced processes to improve the efficiency of onboarding new clients by focusing on key aspects such as workflow analysis, system configuration, comprehensive training, and go-live support.
  • Managing tasks including but not limited to project scope, project timeline, SME assignments, project risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Manage detailed project plans, onsite visits, configuration set ups, training plans.
  • Manage contracts and oversee implementation of third party vendors by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to facilitate resolutions for issues or obstacles pertaining to software applications.
  • Evaluate completed projects to identify wins as well as gaps in order to reduce future occurrences and modify implementations going forward.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with client project leads and other stakeholders.
  • Develop, schedule, and conduct implementation and training meetings, both onsite and remotely with assigned clients.
  • Develop the implementation process enhancements, system upgrades communications, and update training courses.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to facilitate resolutions for issues or obstacles pertaining to software applications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Ability to travel 30-50%

Background And Skills You Will Bring...

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Operations or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years experience with project management (software implementation preferred)
  • Experience in healthcare information technology or healthcare required
  • Previous experience in developing workflows with documentation , processes and training that align with program goals and objectives
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Aptitude in customer service/client relations and a friendly disposition
  • Flexibility and adaptability; must be able to seamlessly pivot to meet objectives of physicians, practice administrators, and other executives
  • Ideal candidate would have PMI Certified; Experience implementing EHRs, or health information technology; Quality/Regulatory; and or Laboratory experience
